Tacos & Cuates - San Gil

We came here on recommendation of our hostel, to celebrate a friend's birthday. Everything was very good but the tacos (especially the fish ones) stood out as some of the best tacos we've had outside of Mexico. At the end of the dinner they offered us a tequila shot. It's a bit outside of the center but if you're craving Mexican food I definitely recommend it!

Disappointing....should stick to Colombian food. Food was pricey and flavours not authentic...just by gas stations

Very well designed on a Mexican style. Great Tacos, Salsas and Enchiladas; Nachos and Mexican Drinks like Jamaica and Horchata. Mexican Beer also available, Mexican Margaritas and Tequila. The owners, Jose Miguel Garcia (A funny smart Mexican guy) who married a Colombian Girl, decided to see how much would the Colombian People like Mexican Food; so he and his wife decided to open this place; and they were absolutely right, they enjoy Mexican Food, as we witnessed while having dinner. Both very friendly, food delivered on time, warm and with the Mexican Seasoning, Flavor and Spicy, as Mexican food is. They also have lots of Mexican Stuff, from T-Shirts, Dolls, Candy, and more.

As a vegetarian I often have a rough time finding food while traveling and my sister (non-veg) wanted mexican food, so we went to this restaurant and they have a really nice environment, mexican music, decoration and people, and they allow you to take pictures wearing their masks and hats. Food was really nice and tasty, I asked for a vegetarian burrito one day and next day for a kind of sandwich and both were awesome. My sister asked for Tacos and something else, and she was also happy with her choice. In brief, one of the best restaurants I visited in San Gil.
