Nest Tea House - San Gabriel

So far my top fav boba place, not sure why there aint a lot of customers but the drinks are always consistent, chewy boba, tea has strong flavor. Recommended lychee green tea, and sea salt green tea.

I've been coming here for my tea fix since they first opened years ago. It's a great spot to study/work or hang out w/ friends. I used to come here often to study or catch up w/ friends. The music isn't too loud and most of the customers are usually studying/working, so it's not extremely noisy. I've never had any issues here regarding their service. They've all been friendly, so no complaints. I have tried a variety of drinks from here and they're not bad. I think they're just ok. I personally like coming here because their drinks are usually consistent when it comes down to the taste. It really depends on who makes it though. You know what they say, consistency is key, lol. Inflation is real! Drinks here typically cost between 6-7$. There's been a 2$ increase from when they first opened until now. Boba is just getting pricier pricier w/ time. Sad, lol. They take cash/card/Apple Pay! As for parking, there's a shared parking lot among the plaza and street parking.

I headed to this place Saturday night with my boyfriend. We were looking for a place that offered hot tea and was still open. We got there after 9 pm. I needed a good green tea that would soothe my throat, decrease my headache, and be delicious to drink. My boyfriend purchased the drink to go. The place was empty when we arrived. The green tea was completely not what I expected atrocious, bitter burnt green tea! What a waste of money and time. The only thing it did was help with my headache. I was desperate for relief. 80% of the drink was thrown away. I don't know about the quality of cold drinks since this is the first time I have tried this place. Props for staying open until 10 pm.

Very good choice for milk tea in the area. Employee was direct but courteous. Place was clean and well-kept (including the restroom), somewhat easy parking and a good choice of options when it comes to milk tea to choose from.

Quality/Quantity Hokkaido Coffee with Boba My drink, not bad. Interesting coffee flavor, slightly bitter, glad I got 100% sugar. Always like to start a new item the way the business makes it/the way the business recommends it. Then I can alter it to my taste in the future. Also, this drink is on their top 10 list of drinks. :)Guava Green Tea with Mango Jelly My wife's drink. This was bitter...? Was it supposed to be? She did get 0% sugar and no ice. Definitely not my preference or taste, a hard pass. The star shaped mango jelly was cool though.Earl Grey Milk Tea with Boba My daughter's drink. This was bitter also, or was it an after taste from my wife's drink? Either way, not my preference. I am a coffee drinker, but you already know that if you are following.Atmosphere Cool small local shop.
