I was extremely disappointed with the purchase I made 2.5 years ago at this restaurant. The $5.25 sticky rice with bamboo leaves was not fresh, falling apart, and clearly had been frozen for a long time. I was extremely disappointed with the purchase I made 2.5 years ago at this restaurant. The $5.25 sticky rice with bamboo leaves was not fresh, falling apart, and clearly had been frozen for a long time. I spoke with the responsible Taiwanese person at the restaurant, hoping for better service as a loyal customer, but was still sold the worst quality food. Despite her suggestion, I purchased two curry flavored cakes, which were definitely fresh and delicious. I had one during my trip, but will not be returning to buy any more frozen items from this restaurant. I will visit another location in the same chain, as they may be franchising and offer fresher options.
Pastries are good and cheap. The selection is not big like 85 degree. But it has the essentials. I like the custard bread ?
They specialize in Taiwanese cakes, pastries and desserts. They sell gift boxes with beautifully wrapped pastries. It’s a bit pricey at $1.50 per item.
