Hibiscus Tree - Feedback
Reviews
Was Hendra W at Hibiscus Tree a mag?
The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. The staff provided clear explanations of the differences between each dish and the various spice levels, which really helped us decide what to order. Everything we tried was wonderful. The restaurant was not too busy during dinner on a weekday. However, parking is limited, so you might need to find a spot in the nearby plaza. View all feedback.
What Hendra W dislikes about Hibiscus Tree:
Now, let's talk about the food: we ordered mala tang (dry pot). You select your vegetables, meats, tofu, and more from the counter, and then you tell the server how you'd like your dish prepared (soup or dry). We also tried Boboji (spicy cold skewers), which has quickly become my favorite dish! You just choose the skewers you want, and they bring them straight to your table.
We also sampled the spicy pork intestines... View all feedback.

The food here is absolutely amazing! This is definitely one of my go-to spots for spicy Chinese dishes. The only downside is that the wait for your order to be ready can be a bit longer than expected.

We also tried Boboji (spicy cold skewers), which quickly became my favorite! You simply select the skewers you want, and they bring them right to your table. We also sampled the spicy pork intestines, a dish I noticed nearly every customer ordering. They were absolutely delicious! Overall, if you love spicy food, this place won’t let you down. I find myself coming back at least once every two weeks!
I can only speak highly of this place. The maocai and boboji are the best versions of these dishes I've had in LA to date.

Amazing!!! Will definitely come back.
