1st timer at Chano's i must say the food was great ordered a green chili carnitas burrito also wanted to try their alpastor so I ordered 2 tacos also a combination plate two crunchy tacos rice beans so filling and delicious yes we will return oh I would've gave them 5stars if they had more seating.
What Vy N doesn't like about Don Chanos Mexican:
This place is just okay. Had their carne asada fries but the meat was rather dry (the whole thing was actually dry) and bland to me. Their salsas were really spicy and good so that helped me eat the fries. Chili cheese fries aren't bad though; very budget friendly. I'll be back to try something else at a later time. Delicious little taco joint. Came her looking for some great street tacos and they were! Cool little place. Not a lot of seating.
Nice people. Good food. Great taste to their food. Almost like my Moms. Breakfast burrito is a favorite any time if the day.
4 stars Decided to try a new Mexican place and I'm really glad I chose Chano's. The lady at the counter was very nice and efficient. The restaurant's interior is tiny. I think it only fit 2 tables inside and more tables/seating at the outside patio. At 8am, it was pretty clean and neat. I ordered a side order of chicken enchiladas half red and half green sauce and would recommend the red sauce over green. I also ordered the chili cheese fries and thought it was very good! The chili is meat only and consistency is thick. I definitely prefer a thinner chili, especially if it's going to be on fries b/c I'd like the fries to absorb some of that chili sauce. But man, those fries are to die for. They're soft and spiced (not too salty), just the way I like it. Total came out to $11.22 including tax. Price is ok for food; soft drinks seem pricey (no refills). Portion size is decent. Small on-site parking or street parking. If you're looking for a casual, no frills Mexican restaurant, this is a very good option.
