Conveniently located next to 168 market with plenty of free parking. Diamond bakery is a relatively small family owned bakery stocked lots of different kinds pastries and cakes. I tried the Portuguese egg tart, walnut date bar, and curry beef puff. All 3 we're absolutely delicious. The portion size is super generous and the prices are fair for the area. Service wasn't too inviting but it wasn't a big enough issue to... View all feedback.
What Gunner Feil doesn't like about Diamond Bakery:
Ladies and gentlemen, check your reception before you leave! I went yesterday and was loading a shredded pig **** and another $2.60 fee for nothing except named in full! I called the day after, first the lady answered the phone said the person responsible will be there at 5:00 and she will call me back at 5:00. No one called 6pm. I called again, they pretended they didn't know what I'm talking about. I sent them the... View all feedback.
Ladies and gentlemen, please double-check your bill before leaving! I visited the restaurant yesterday and ended up being charged an extra $2.60 for no apparent reason. I called the next day, and the woman who answered said the manager would be in at 5:00 PM and would call me back. However, no one called me by 6:00 PM. When I called again, they pretended not to understand my issue. I sent them a copy of the receipt, but they offered no apology and only a $3 store credit as compensation. I requested a refund via PayPal, Venmo, or any other method because I didn't want to have to return in person, but all of my requests were denied. The woman on the phone even told me I was welcome to file a complaint with any organization I chose, as there was nothing more they could do. This lack of accountability and problem-solving is simply unacceptable.
I enjoyed this bakery. They offered fresh bread and a wonderful variety of flavors. However, I've noticed that the quality has dropped in recent months. Some of the breads are stale, and there often isn't much selection available, even if you visit early.
I stopped by around 10 a.m., hoping to find a selection of freshly baked goods, but was disappointed to see the shelves appeared rather lackluster and empty. I expected a lot more for a Saturday morning. There were just a few egg tarts, some bread that looked like it had been left out overnight, and a handful of cookies. With limited options, I picked up a few items to take with me. They do offer cakes and colorful macarons as gift boxes. During my visit, I opted for some fortune cookies, small baked treats, and some rolls. However, if you’re looking for a wider variety of baked goods, I would recommend checking out another bakery.
*The young lady/cashier was very helpful and the facilities were clean!*Küche des Brots, unfortunately, was very limited, although there were various chilled cut western cakes on the display!
Love mango cake from them, but a little bit creamy for me, wish it have more mango and fruits
