You get more than you bargained for at Chocol-Ha! This gorgeous cafe is set back from the main tourist strip and has a beautiful courtyard in which to relax. The chocolate cake was perfect: substantial, without being overly sweet. The hot chocolate was also amazing, as was the service. Bravo to everyone involved! View all feedback.

I don’t know why this place has so many good reviews. The food was totally un creative and flavorless. The coffee was OK. Garden is nice but doesn’t make up for quality of food. Really disappointing. View all feedback.
Delightful little cafe with a beautiful back garden patio. This little coffee shop was fabulous for breakfast, we decided to go through to the back garden as the on street seating was in full sun on an extremely hot day. The shop itself is very charming with beautiful, comfortable furnishings but when we saw the back patio we chose to sit there. It was a lovely setting, with really cool features, like a large tree growing out through a stone wall. We were there with another couple for breakfast. They had the spinach quiche which came with a cold squash soup and salad, hubby had the breakfast sandwich on a multigrain bread and I had the mushroom cheese crepes, which were fantastic! The orders were large, well presented and very very good, the menu had a really good variety of options, not the traditional breakfast choices but a more European inspired menu. Throw in some specialty coffees, cappuccinos and for one of the man-kids a chocolate frappe! Would highly recommend this charming little spot right in Centro walking distance from many of the old hotels.
We took our friends here having been here a couple of times before in previous years and having had an amazing experience. We were sadly disappointed this week. We decided to go here for some coffee and breakfast. My coffee was barely coffee coloured and tasted like water. Two of us ordered the quiche. It was okay, lukewarm. Came with a small cup of soup, now that was really good. The salad was mostly lettuce, which was brown, completely brown. Not how I eat lettuce. Brown and gross, all four of us received it this way. The meals came out very slowly, one at a time. By the time my husband's came, the rest of us had completely finished. What was so strange was he ordered avacado toast. You would have thought his would be first. It was supposed to have a hard boiled egg on it, but half the egg was missing. And yes the person who received their meal first also had a hard boiled egg. The waitress never said anything to us, or smiled, just took our order, left, and didn't see her unless she was bringing out an entree. The Garden is beautiful, the orange juice was fresh and so good. The rest, sadly very, very disappointing! At those prices, inexcusable. We will not be returning during our time here.

After I went for a hot chocolate on my first evening in Campeche I went back to try their breakfast and the same delicious chocolate but this time on the cold version. I became obsessed with Chocol´Ha.It´s such a quaint and pleasant place where you can stay for a while enjoying their food and beverages, good playlists and even a good assortment of books. I did try other places for breakfast while in Campeche but this was my favorite and I did go everyday for at least a glass of delicious chocolate with chile. Gracias!
We visit the restaurant twice because it has a nice location, delicious breakfast and very friendly stuff. The price isn’t the cheapest, but it worth it!
