This restaurant is a fantastic addition to Market Street, with one particular dish standing out above the rest. The conchinita pibil is simply everything you could hope for and more, making it the main reason I would return. While some of the other taco creations have been hit or miss, with flavors not always blending well and seeming hurriedly prepared, they are not as memorable as a result. The service is good, friendly, and fairly attentive.
The food at this restaurant is so tasty! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the quesadillas and I definitely recommend them!
If I return to San Francisco, I will definitely visit this Mexican restaurant again. The customer service is excellent, as they assist you in navigating the extensive menu options. The establishment is simple yet tastefully decorated. I highly recommend trying the Oaxaca cheese dish.
Great food and fair prices. A little sad that alcohol isn't sold here but it wasn't a deal breaker.
Beautiful interior, great food and drinks, and stellar service make this worthy of five stars. I didn't expect much walking in. The interior is filled with vivid colors and murals. A rail divides the indoor seating from the waiting area. A chandelier hangsand shines over patrons enjoying their food and the kitchen is viewable through a window. I only ordered the chips and salsa for$3 and the mango-pineapple agua fresca for $4, but I could tell from seeing the other customers eat that the food is delicious.By the way, ordering was a breeze. The cashier prepared a bowl of chips, scooped the three salsas into a dipping tray withthree compartments, and poured a glass of the agua fresca. I expected to carry my own food outside, where I planned to sit, butthe cashier did it for me. The chips were really crispy and slightly warm. The three salsas were each unique in flavor, but alldelicious. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican food. The pricesaren't too bad for San Francisco.
