Sweet Delight Bakery - San Francisco

I believe this is a great place for a quick takeout meal when you're busy and don't have time to cook. It's conveniently located close to home. In many ways, it resembles Chase Luck in terms of menu options and flavors. While the food isn't as salty as Chase Luck's, it is similarly greasy. I didn't try their dim sum this time, but I definitely plan to sample it on my next visit.

This restaurant serves the BEST chicken wings! I made a last-minute call to place an order, and they were extremely accommodating. My party tray was ready for pickup in just 15 minutes. When I arrived, I decided to add a dozen char siu bao and a half dozen siu mai to my order. They packed everything up quickly for me, and I was in and out in no time. I highly recommend this place if you're nearby, and I will definitely be returning!

The shrimp dumplings and shrimp chive dumplings had a slightly thick skin, but honestly, I didn’t mind and still enjoyed them. The shrimp rice roll was your classic offering; I just wished it had a bit more shrimp, but it was still delicious overall. The chicken wings were truly the highlight! I was amazed at how perfectly crispy and tasty they were. I keep wanting to go back just for these wings. As for the noodles, I’m not sure of the exact name since I just pointed it out on the menu, but I got the stir-fried chow mein with scallions and onions, and it was fantastic. The portion was generous too, enough to last me for two days!

Not everything served here is good. It's mainly just tolerable food because of how cheap it is. With that said, some items are decent and are great value especially the food by the pound.Do not order from a delivery service. They replaced half my order with just siu mai and shrimp dumplings because they ran out of the ordered items without even calling me. Imagine ordering 6 different dim sum and 3 orders siu mai and 3 orders shrimp dumplings showed up.

Popped by here after work to grab some surprise dimsum. Parking was plentiful on a weekday at 745am. The shrimp dumpings were the stars that stood out for me- the shrimp was juuust right in flavor, texture, and size. Easy, efficient, and would definitely pop by here again.
