Where can you get another 4 dollar sandwich with everything else? You will also get a loaded sand with this 4 dollar, one side (macaroni or potato salad) and tortis chips and liquid cheese! The owner is the most friendly person in this whole town Sometimes the wait can be long, but the payout is unbelievable for this last hidden jewel from the old San FranciscoPiebald one of the last places with San frasnsuco soul View all feedback.
A truly traditional and welcoming establishment with excellent service and delightful flavors. It's a hidden gem in the Fillmore ice cream scene.
The owner here is super friendly and it's definitely an interesting experience getting ice cream here. The style of ice cream is very old-fashioned American ice cream, reminds me of the ice cream I got from the country of upstate NY. The texture is super creamy and the portion size is very generous. I got the strawberry flavor and really liked it, not overly sweet and with strawberry pieces. The ube was different from the soft serve you typically get from asian ice cream/soft serve places, and tastes just like ube. Also cash-only.
I ordered a gigantic sundae that featured three different flavors of ice cream, three sauces, whipped cream, nuts, and cherries, all for just $5—a fantastic deal! I was so pleased that I left a generous tip. I can’t wait to return for my next scoop at Miyako!
Pretty good Miyako Old Fashion Ice Cream. The service was quick and nice. I had the teddy with the black sesame, sea salt caramel, and the hazelnut flavor. The base was the sea salt caramel and even though it was good, I wished I got the black sesame flavor. It was honestly so good I wanted more.
I had an absolutely delightful experience at this charming little shop. Although it’s quite small, it’s bursting with character. The owner, Tom, is incredibly friendly and offers delicious ice cream with generously sized scoops. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it is too! He could easily charge double and it would still feel like a bargain, so don’t forget to leave him a generous tip. Thanks to Tom serving Mitchell's, I got to try some truly unique flavors. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit, and I can’t wait to return with more friends!
