Menu
Here you will find the menu of Java On Ocean in San Francisco. At the moment there are 104 meals and beverages in the menu.
Tucked on Ocean Ave near City College, this quirky, Frida Kahlo–adorned café serves standout espresso, fresh breakfast sandwiches and an expansive menu including halal options. Guests praise fast service, rich pastries and the novelty of pet birds that enliven the warm, diverse atmosphere. Cramped parking, limited group seating and steep prices temper the charm, and sporadic brusque service plus a no‑Wi‑Fi policy may deter some. Still, many call it a hidden gem for morning coffee or casual meetups.

This charming little cafe has an extensive menu! The southwestern bagel is absolutely delicious. I've never encountered a coffee shop with pet birds inside, which was quite a surprising experience. View all feedback.
What Xavan Omad dislikes about Java On Ocean:
Charming ambiance with many seniors enjoying their morning coffee. However, the staff seemed a bit impatient and rushed to take orders, even though the place wasn't busy. This is a great local coffee shop. The place has a big menu with a lot of options for all types of clients. The service is good and the place has a good vibe. I got I cold creamy mocha chai, the drink was delicious I will be coming back to try more of the things in the menu. If you go to ccsf you can easily come here before or after class.
The bagel was soft and expertly crafted. The ambiance was inviting, warm, and cozy.
Can't believed there's such a unique coffee shop on Ocean Ave, the coffee is delicious, the fun part is the waiting time, there are cute birds to watch while waiting. Love it.

In fact, I don't think they have any intention of offering it at all.
Java on Ocean is the epitome of what a café should be! The atmosphere is fantastic, with intriguing regulars and a delightful barista named Hassam. The coffee is excellent, the internet is dependable, and the pastries are a real treat! Plus, I absolutely LOVE that they open at 6 AM! Thank you! Food: 5/5
