My friends and I always enjoy Jamber. Last night we met for a happy hour and shared a jug of tasty ?tempranillo. In addition, we ate the tenderest and fluffy pulps with a mustard and a chessy scuba sauce. ? Beautiful ambience and staff.
I absolutely adore Jamber for a lunchtime or post-work drink spot. While their lunch menu may be on the smaller side, everything on it is outstanding. I particularly enjoy their offer of a half sandwich and half salad for only $9, and the food is quite tasty. Additionally, the option to order a carafe of wine is a big plus for me. Overall, Jamber is a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink.
This was a super cool little place! We were walking by on our way to dinner and decided to swing in for a few drinks! We ordered some tater tots while we there and they were AMAZING!! They came with a bacon jam that turned the flavor up a few notches! The wine was good. They have wine on tap there, so it's a pretty cool place to hit. The atmosphere was cool and hip. I'm a fan of wine bars in general. I'll for sure put this on my list of places to frequent while I'm in town. After we finished here we continued out journey to dinner! I love how walkable SF is and how you can food bar hop all night and walk the city.
Food overall was quite good. Good selection of beer and wine. Service was quite good, especially given that the bartender was the only one working the first floor. The outdoor space is a nice touch and they have heaters for the 'Cold ' San Francisco evenings. My biggest question is why they were playing Turner Classic Movies on the TV 's!
