parking is rough. but it's worth it! literal hole in the wall, no seating, but outside is a bank. we love the carnitas super burritos. if they are a fan of chips and salsa, make sure they get 2 bags chips. (I have eaten most of them on the way to home). View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gordo Taqueria:
Gordo's has the market to its self on upper Clement. I can't speak to the quality of their meat, but the contents of their regular burrito, everything but meat, are good. What is not good, and all too common at burrito shops, is the steaming of a tortilla to get it warm. This makes for a soggy burrito, if you don't unwrap it immediately. The food is outstanding! Everything tastes fresh. The dishes are ready quickly and there are plenty of meat options to choose from. The plates are perfect for creating your own burrito.
The staff from the 80s was amazing. The burritos are still tasty, but they seem to be smaller now. My only complaint is that the cashier touched the inside of the foil that wraps my burrito. He actually used his gloved hand to flatten out the foil.
They prepared a chile verde quesadilla for me and it was amazing. I would have taken a photo, but I couldn't resist eating it.

Very good, healthy sized tacos and burritos. I would go back again.
