I met up with two friends for a fun time at this restaurant. While we enjoyed ourselves, we probably won't return soon as there are many other great dining options in the area. Overall, it was fine. View all feedback.
What HollyH doesn't like about El Lopo:
The music was a bit loud for conversation, but it created a lively atmosphere for happy hour. The menu is perfect for sharing small plates, though not all dishes are meant to be eaten with your hands. View all feedback.
Great place to have high-quality tapas food in a vibrant part of the city. Reservation is required. The waiters know their menu very well and are a good source of information and recommendation.
Service was slow and inconsistent. Food was mediocre at best and over priced for the quality and portion size. The dishes that did arrive were tasty, but certainly not worth the price or the wait time.
Hopefully they will get the kinks out. 2nd night open serving outside. Service was terrible. It took over an hour to get our appetizers which tins of fish and slices of cheese. Nothing cooked, they only had to open the tin, and put a couple of slices of cheese on a plate. Cooked appetizers never arrived.
Underrated. Love this place. Best vermouth/sherry experience I've had since visiting Spain
Excellent food given their limited kitchen. Everything was super tasty, inventive, and creative. Loved the wine selection, and obviously you go here to try out some Sherry's Vermouth's! All the wait staff is super friendly too :
