Chino's Taqueria - San Francisco

Best Chili Verde ever. So good. This place is old school, I think. It's the I remember going out for a burrito was like when I was a kid, but a thousand times better food.

This has been my go-to burrito place for 20 years. Excellent ingredients! Way better than Gordo's but then again I like real cheese.

Chinos is such an awesome and underrated taqueria. I'm not sure if a lot of people know about it because it looks a bit like a hole-in-the-wall in downtown Richmond district. But if you are able to stop by, this place makes food that is seriously a huge bang for your buck. We ordered a couple of tacos, one burrito, and one nachos for two ppl to share because we were expecting everything to be reasonably but small sized for the price they were charging for everything. But ot turned out that everything was HUGE! Not only was the food absolutely delicious and cooked/seasoned to perfection, but the portions were sooo generous. The burrito I had to finish in two settings, and the tacos we just couldn't finish that day because we were so full from the nachos and burrito. Additionally, the cooks who helped us out were super friendly and chill. This place is amazing and we will definitely return in the future when we are ready to binge on authentic and not overly greasy tacos and burritos. I highly recommend!!!

Real food made by friendly people. Love what they make your own thing that is one of the best places in the area. I’ve been coming here a lot learned what are the right dishes for me and since then I order here whenever I can.

(CASH ONLY) If you come to eat here make sure you have CASH!! Food was good, service was great but I forgot cash. Isn't that something they have their own ATM in the restaurant. I wasn't about to have my bank charge me and get a fee for using there's as well. This generous woman behind me heard I don't have cash and paid for my burrito and I couldn't thank her enough. Good people in SF THANK YOU TO YOU IF YOU READ THIS!! MUCH LOVE
