Contribute Feedback What A Habib likes about Chai By David Rio:
Excellent place to stop for chai, nice variety and a good change from all the coffee shops downtown. The Tiger Spice and Elephant Vanilla chai were full of flavor and you could tell the difference in spice notes for each. Service was quick and the location was very clean a nice break from the streets of downtown San Francisco. View all feedback.
I've been visiting David Rio for years since I used to work nearby. This place is definitely worth a visit and has some of the best chai I've tasted in the US. I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and you really can't go wrong with any of it. My top favorites are the tea frappe, flamingo, and black rhino. While you can't sit inside right now, which is understandable, this locally-owned gem is definitely worth a stop. Highly recommended!
It seems to me that my restaurant reviews in San Francisco are starting to sound quite similar these days. The food is fantastic, but the location is difficult—parking is a real challenge. They close a bit early on Fridays, so be sure to arrive ahead of time. You definitely won't regret trying the hot chai, especially the classic signature blend!
The chai here is incredible, with a wide range of varieties available. I love that their menu rates each option based on sweetness and spiciness!
This is by far the best Chai I have ever had. What a beautiful place with beautiful people
This restaurant is fantastic and has a delightful twist. The Chai Latte is delicious—I've never tried one before visiting this place. Their lemon and poppy seed muffins are also amazing; I enjoyed three of them this week!
