Definitely a tourist place, but we love to come here. The food and views are always great. Even saw a dolphin today out the window, that was just hanging around. Got the new release Jumbalya....it was soooo wonderful...wish I had a gallon of the sauce. The shrimps were huge and flavored sooooo good! JENNYS Blomde Ale super yummmm too. View all feedback.
What Jamarcus Maggio doesn't like about Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.:
The server was delightful. The food was decent, surprisingly better than I anticipated for a chain restaurant. It was a bit pricey, but enjoyable. There was a lot of fried food on the menu, making it challenging to find healthier options. View all feedback.
The view stunning I?d say makes this place all the more enjoyable. The theme of the restaurant is everywhere if you loved the film then chances are you?ll love this restaurant. The food was acceptable for what it was and while the price is what it isgiven the location. After the meal plenty to do around the pier!
Great food and great decor. Definitely if your a Forrest Gump fan. If you never been here before here's a tip, there's a stand with 2 license plates, blue and red. When you are ready to order, need refill, or anything else. Flip to red. When done flip toblue.
Service was really nice and assertive food was delicious and the drinks were so good that you couldn’t really taste the alcohol in them at all but at about half way through my drink I could already feel my drink : lol pretty much tasty (but strong drinks. We were afraid that we might miss our ferry but the service was pretty quick and we made it back in time.
I had been here a couple previous times, and all seemed good. And, the views of SF Bay are spectacular. Before visiting yesterday, I read many reviews that slammed the service...it being a tourist place. I went yesterday with two friends--we all live 45 minutes from SF--and our service was SPECTACULAR. Our server was Mark G. Despite a packed house on a rare, hot summer day in San Francisco, he greeted us promptly, served our drinks and food quickly, and throughout or stay, Mark checked in on us. He refilled our drinks, and asked us Forrest Gump movie trivia. When we joked with him, he returned fire with humor and respect. Net: despite being a professional waiter for, he said, nearly forty years, Mark hadn 't lost his enthusiasm for the job and his commitment to serving his customers well. The food: it was good, although my coconut shrimp should have been cooked longer. But overall we had a wonderful time, and we WILL go back and again try to get a table served by Mark.
Went for dinner with a friend on a Tuesday and had a great time! The wait was about 15-20min; you get a text when it's time and can explore as you wait. We got a table over looking the water and could see a sea lion in the distance! We had the clam chowder bowl, large fish and chips, and a side of onion rings, all of which was incredibly tasty. The clam chowder had just the right amount of clam; the fish and chips were tender and well portioned. It was a lovely experience!Parking: We found paid street parking about a block away for $3/hr. Definitely cheaper than the lots in the area!
