During a brief visit to San Francisco, we dined at this restaurant three times and were consistently impressed. Located near Market Street, we were seeking vegan options and this place was just a short walk away. The food was tasty, flavorful, and satisfying, all at a reasonable price for San Francisco. The service was relaxed and the atmosphere was pleasant. Be sure to try the gingerbread pancakes!

I have visited this restaurant several times and have had a positive experience each time. Despite warnings from friends about strange and awkward interactions with the servers, I have not encountered this myself. While the servers may not be the most friendly, they provide a minimalistic and zen level of interaction. They are quick to take orders, offer suggestions, and deliver food, but don't engage in small talk. The food at this restaurant has been consistently delicious. The Neatloaf, especially with its mushroom gravy, is a standout dish and popular among customers. The vegan carne asada tacos were also surprisingly good and generous in size. I enjoyed them with a cup of dal as part of a lunch special, which was flavorful and satisfying. The menu clearly marks vegan options, but identifying gluten-free choices can be a bit challenging. However, the servers are knowledgeable and can assist with selecting gluten-free options.

We decided to place our order online on their website and then went to pick it up. We ordered the vegan neatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries, and the German chocolate cake. Our favorite dish was the chicken salad sandwich - it was delicious! I personally enjoyed the vegan neatloaf more than my husband did, although he still ate some of it. I think it would taste even better with the gravy instead of the BBQ sauce. The mashed potatoes with gravy were also really tasty. The sweet potato fries were a hit as well. My husband enjoyed the German chocolate cake a lot. The customer service was excellent, with the staff member giving us napkins and utensils, which was helpful as we took our food to eat at the park in front of the city building. Went to Amanda Fuara for lunch today and overall it was a good experience. This is a Vegan, Vegetarian, and Plant Based restaurant with modest decor and Indian themed. I appreciate restaurants that cater exclusively to a particular crowd becauseall vegan options are few and far between. Central located on Market Street near City Hall, this restaurant is easily accessiblevia Bart and has both dine in and carry out options. I ordered a Beyond Meat burger and sweet potato fries. Overall, it wasn?tbad. The burger was drenched in BBQ, which overpowered what should have been crispy lettuce and other veggies. They also havefreshly baked sweets with a healthy twist, if you have a sweet tooth. I definitely recommend trying to place out. On a criticalnote, I was given the wrong order, walked back to my office, only to have to turn around and go back. This was I accepted,especially when I consider the heat wave and the fact that the restaurant wasn?t busy. Mistakes happen, but, if I wasn?t in aposition to come immediately back, my review would have been far more critical.

A perfect spot for vegetarian and vegan lunch! The salad bowls, soups, and entrees are all very tasty. We've been here many times over the past 15 years, and it's consistently good. The people who work here are all nice. Good atmosphere for casualdining.
