Forget the previous negative reviews. They bare no resemblance to the high quality food this place offers. Everything is freshly made and generous in portion size. The daily specials are excellent. Fresh sushi, tostada, rice bowls are wonderful. The people who run the place are friendly and helpful. It's too bad they close before 2 pm. What Amy Z doesn't like about Terrace Cafe:
I wished I can give 5 negative stars. I tried going this place two times but I didn 't buy anything both times because the old man in front is so rude. PLEASE DO NOT go to this cafe. Today, I asked what kind of hot soup they got because it 's not specified on the menu. He said vegetable and mushroom soup. I asked if they are savory or sweet. He said not savory or sweet. It 's just soup. He said it with a bad attitude... View all feedback.
Many of my doctors are at 2100 Webster so I make sure to arrive early and schedule my appointments so I can eat lunch here. On my last visit 09-05-2023, I enjoyed the best grilled reuben sandwich I’ve ever had! I had Carlos add chopped red onions and jalapeño peppers. It was delicious! Jane was also behind the counter and always so sweet. I believe Howard was the gentleman at the cash register. Terrace Cafe also has seating outdoors. I enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and the people, very much!Vegetarian options: They offer something for everyone here. Plenty of choices both hot and cold, meat and veggie, fruit, desserts, and beverages.Dietary restrictions: Just let them know!Parking: The building has a good-sized parking garage underneath. The trick is to time your appointments for when fewer people will be looking for a space. Hint: Ask the parking attendant what hours they recommend.Kid-friendliness: As long as everyone behaves, everyone is welcome! Personally, I have never been there when children were present.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a rollator walker. No problems. Staff will help open doors and carry food to your table.

Very rude staff even to hospital staff. Short and dismissive. Very unwilling to help to offer other places to sit and eat.
I work in this building, so sometimes I sit in the Cafe terrace until my shift starts. The lady owner was very rude. First she had her mask under her nose during COVID then when I confronted her, she denied it after she fixed her mask in front of me. Second, she came up to me and told me that I cannot be drinking my water brought from home nor coffee bought outside at their Cafe because it's a private cafe. I understood but I didn't appreciate how rude she was about it. I asked what about my water from my hydroflask and she said nothing unless you buy it here. Wear your mask properly especially if you work in a medical building and learn to talk to people, you should know this if you own a business.
