Make sure they cook your burger meat thoroughly. Took a bite and the inside of the burger was pink. The patty fell apart in my hand because it was undercooked. It was the color of a rare steak. The condiment bar is nice though.

This used to be an old neighborhood standby for good burgers and fries, but after last night's horrible dinner we will not be back. Our veg burgers and fries were totally undercooked, the cook was totally annoyed when I asked for different buns because he did not get our request for regular not wheat, the ketchup was full of water, the condiment bar looked sparser than usual. I have been going here for years and it looks like they have made some changes, not for the better. The place was dead, we were the only ones in there for part of the time. I think others in the Castro have caught on that this place is not the same anymore.

Today was my second time coming in a restaurant in two weeks the first time I noticed they had new owner took over the restaurant the food menu is the same but better quality meat,and they hv grt combo meal for $12.99 cheeseburger with fries& a coke. They hv beer can drinks& tea comp water they now hv hot sandwiches and will be having homemade pizza, they hv fresh garnish green leaf lettuce pickles cucumbers onions tomatoes black olives barbecue sauce they also hv cheese and chilly fries and sweet potato fries. They're open everyday from 11:00am to 12am. Next week on Wednesday they will be opening the dessert store next to the restaurant which will have pastries n Turkish treats ice cream time they will be open to the public is 11:00am not sure what time they will close. At Castro slider's just remember if you want your burger well-done you have to let him know because otherwise it is medium well which I do not like pink in my burger,v oh and they hv a flat screen television so u can watch while ur eating. lol

I eat here often as I work in the neighborhood. Great American food for not so much money. Actually. Sliders is the lowest priced meal in the Castro. Some reviews say it is too expensive...that's crazy. With the $10K rent of a typical store plus all of the SF mandated employee benefits, this place is a bargain. Try their grilled chicken sandwich. It is delicious. The fries are always excellent too.
