Presidio Cafe - San Francisc

The bar crew is great. The food is okay but needs to up its game.

About a month ago I had breakfast here and did not have anything good to say about the dining experience. However I was invited back by management to give the restaurant another chance since I was assured it was not a typical dining experience that I had. Today I went for lunch. My husband had a really good burger and fries. I had the fish tacos. We both enjoyed our choices and found the food very tasty. Service was pleasant and efficient. I don't typically do restaurant reviews but I am glad I returned and feel that my bad experience a month ago was atypical. Thanks to Abbas Qabazard for reaching out to encourage me to experience a lovely lunch.

Still a great place to meet with friends over good food, atmosphere conducive to conversation, and beautiful location with ample free parking! Wait staff very professional and attentive. Restrooms nice decor and clean. Highly recommend to start at the Presidio Cafe for a meal then drive down to the Officer's Club museum/displays or go to the Disney museum or just walk around the Presidio.

Great location for business meal away from the downtown area.

If you're looking for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch this certainly fits the bill. The menu is varied and the food is really good. Try the grilled cheese sandwich with mushrooms and grilled red peppers. Comes with salad or fries. The salmon frittata looked good too. And the fries are excellent. Has a full bar, for those who'd like a cocktail. A little off the beaten path and it has parking!
