Mr. Pizza Man - San Francisc

Im not sure what it is about this pizza, but I drive 15 min out of my way just for 2 slices of their cheese pizza. It tastes like New York Pizza. Its the only slice ive found in the bay that satisfies my pizza cravings, they must have some special ingredients in their sauce or bread. The staff is so sweet and always smiles at me. The young man gave me a free ranch. Idk, I love this place.

The pizza was okay- it's VERY doughy. No crunch on the crust at all so that was disappointing. Got a slice of cheesecake as well and it was decent. I probably wouldn't order from here again. The price was enticing but the food left me feeling unhappy and unsatisfied.

I wanted to place an order over the phone , I talked to a man he was going to take my order so I asked my mom to make sure it was the right pizza and he rudely told me I needed to be ready when I called . I also work at costumer service and I will never treat a costumer like that . Manager need to train employee better to not be treating costumers like that . It’s not my first time experience bad costumer service at this place , but I won’t be ordering from here again . I’m paying for it so why they be making it so stressful.

Mr. Pizza man is a mission district staple. Serving 3 generations in my family. I enjoy their food the menu is. Accommodating And most dishes. Taste the way You expect them to taste However, most recently, the quality of the pizza has fallen flat. I don't know what it is, but it's just not up to par. As to what you expect from Mr. Pizza man pizza. For lunch, did you have a nice lunch? Combo menu on the wall to the right of the cash register. This menu gives you a lot of Bang for your buck. When in a tight spot with dinner, I usually grab the chew topping extra large pizza with the free Coca-Cola. This used to be a great bargain, but the prices have won up if you use a card to pay. The price goes up. I have looked at my receipt to configure the price jump. Unfortunately, they do not itemize on their receipts. For this reason, I stopped tipping. Back to the beginning of this post, where I suggested? They are falling flat. I think they are just relying on their name because, as I say. Mr. Pizza Man is a mission district institution. folks from the Mission are loyal but not foolish, so Mr. Pizza Man, stop playing and get back to what you do best, making good tasting affordable quality pizzas
