It was pretty quiet. There wasn't anyone else in there but I think it was because of the weather. Either way the service was friendly and the sourdough french toast was tasty. So far I have only experienced breakfast at this place but it has been pleasant each time. Nothing yet has overwhelmed me with amazingness but it's been above average at least. View all feedback.
What Mike Dociu doesn't like about Boudin Bakery Cafe:
A good place to grab lunch on market st. The sourdough bread is great, when fresh. They have a decent sandwich and soup selection and it is usually pretty easy to get a table during lunch. View all feedback.
A nice casual spot to grab some delicious Boudin. Just try to arrive a little bit early or late otherwise you'll encounter a wait in line that usually runs out the door. Calling your order ahead might help but the food usually comes out so quickly (and fresh) that it usually won't make much of a difference. Nice comfortable quiet seating in the back and patio seating. As always great Boudin food for the middle of your day working downtown.
Not all that great. Coffee is not all that freshly brewed (comes out of a giant container), and croissants weren't fresh even in the morning either.
Ordered online here and got the wrong order. someone else is enjoying my clam chowder in a bread bowl right now while im eating their chili in a bread bowl.....
Nice outpost of the original. Good for a quick bite or sit down..
Tasty soup, salad, and sandwiches. Pretty famous bread bowl clam chowder too. The interior is probably the best part. Lots of intimate seating plus a patio on Market.
