Overall a good lunch spot if you are looking for Mediterranean. I recommend the lentil soup is probably the star dish on the menu and can be ordered in combination with almost anything else. The gyro is big and tasty and the chicken is well cooked and seasoned. Service is quick, but abrupt. Not a negative, just something to be prepared for. View all feedback.
What Brett Zimmermann doesn't like about Baladie Gourmet Cafe:
Stopped here for a Lamb and Beef Gyro, was very disappointed. I've had much better. It was dry and lacking of flavor. The tzatziki was very watery and pooled up on the bottom of my gyro. View all feedback.
The tabouli salad wasnot fresh (maybe few days old) and the shawerma tasted nothing like a real shawerma
Not a Mediterranean place. Please get a proper chef who can cook Mediterranean. Your chicken tasted like sauté chicken
Simply Good food. Theirs Shawarma wraps and lentil soup are nothing but awesome.

I didn’t get to try the famed lentil soup but the Mediterranean platter is not great. The pita was warm and soft. I was able to use up the Groupon vouchers in one go because of Thanksgiving closures. The owner is kind hearted. The food is served in a takeaway box and the prices are affordable. Wide selection of beverages.
