Aguachile is a traditional Mexican dish made with raw seafood, lime juice, chili peppers, and spices. It is often served with tortilla chips or tostadas.Aguachile is thought to have originated in the mountains of Sinaloa, Mexico. The name aguachile comes from the Nahuatl words ahuacatl (avocado) and chilli (chili pepper). The traditional way to make aguachile is to use shrimp, but other seafood, such as scallops, octopus, or fish, can also be used. The seafood is cooked in lime juice, which cooks the seafood without actually heating it up. The lime juice also adds a sour flavor to the dish.Chili peppers are an essential ingredient in aguachile. They add heat and flavor to the dish. The type of chili pepper used can vary, but the most common are serrano peppers and habanero peppers.Other ingredients that are often added to aguachile include onions, cilantro, and cucumber. These ingredients add freshness and texture to the dish.Aguachile is typically served with tortilla chips or tostadas. It can also be served as an appetizer or a main course.
Dirty, food is not good. If you're underage and want drinks this is the place to go!
Never had oysters with aguachile... I couldn't pass on these... Man they were so good...
