Rifugio Premuda

We were taken to this place for dinner by family whilst visiting Trieste. It is tucked away up in the Karst in amongst walking trails. The menu is good wholesome food,nothing fancy pasta,gnocchi, gulasch etc that gives you an idea of the menu. Simple food but done very well. I had the gnocchi with wild boar and it was really good. All others in our group enjoyed their meals also. Very reasonably priced and worth a visit. If you like bush walking this place is a definite lunch stop to fill up with some good food. Highly recommended.

I went here for dinner after 10 minutes drive from the city centre: immersed in nature, near a creek and a waterfall you feel like in a mountain hut. The gnocchi were excellent and the meat skewer was ok, with nice local red wine. The food is generally OK, but the best part is the place and the surrounding area.

The right place to stop for lunch after a nice walk in Val Rosandra.Very kind personnel, open minded, ready to offer something veg even in a place where 90% of the menu is meat! I had a wonderful pasticcio with radicchio di montagna , my wife some great potatoes patate in tecia , mushrooms with polenta and spinach. Very reasonable price, the best place in this area for sure! Better book in advance.

Ambiente accogliente da rifugio di montagna, cibo eccellente, persone stupende, prezzo adeguato.Da ritornarci.

Un bel sito da visitare specialmente durante la calura estiva. Pochi piatti ma cibo fresco, nella media. Gnocchi con sugo d'arrosto,piuttosto insipido, ottimi quelli col ragù o tartufo. Rapporto scarso qualità prezzo.
