My husband and I went to Grove Steakhouse for the first time with friends. We were very excited because we had heard so many positive things about this restaurant. We drove from Menifee to dine there. Our experience was not pleasant. We were served incredibly slowly, and my dish was so cold that I had to return it. When it came time to pay our bill, the waitress requested for my husband's identity so that it could be matched to his credit card. In all of my dining experience, we have never been required to display it when paying a bill. We had wine and Champagne, so why weren't we asked to show our IDs? I told the waitress that “this was a first.” Her reply was, “This is to prevent children from using their parents' credit cards . This response made no sense to us. It makes us wonder if we were profiled based on race. I'd like to see the Grove Steakhouse's policy on customers paying their bill. This was humiliating because I didn't notice the table next to me being carded while paying their bill. This will be the first and last time dining at this Steakhouse.

I wasn't super impressed by the grove restaurant. So many people were speaking all good things. It was our first time there. The service was alright. I don't feel like at place like this I need to ask a couple times for things. The server wasn't back at our table much. The food was OK as well. The part that was the worst was our bill wasn't correct when we received it. It took almost 40 minutes for them to handle that. I don't feel like we were at all a priority. I was really hoping for a better experience.

Spectacular steakhouse located inside viejas casino. This fine dining restaurant accepts reservations and walk-ins. Has multiple fireplaces which makes the experience even more romantic. The service here was impeccable with waitstaff tending to all needs (food allergies), refilling water/drinks immediately, never having to flag anyone down. Now to the food, we got the brussel sprouts, filet mignon, porterhouse steak, lobster Mac and cheese, and calamari fried with jalapeños. Everything was bursting with flavor. They even gave us sorbet to cleanse our palate in between dishes. This upscale restaurant is a MUST.

My Bae surprised me with dinner at Grove Restaurant for my Birthday on April 7th. The decor is very modern with clean lines and beautiful textures. The food and service were topnotch! We had a couple of appetizers with the braised short ribs and grilled Bison Ribeye entrees. Everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned! Our waiter JoJo was Awesome! If you are looking for an alternative to Fleming's or Morton's, Grove Steakhouse at Viejas is a smart choice.

This place has been newly remodeled.. WOW is all I can say! This is a must when you come to Viejas!! Food is a 10!!
