The Turquoise Cafe- Europa - San Diego

The Turquoise Café Bar Europa is one of my favorite restaurants in PB. It is not like anywhere else in the beach area as it is more sophisticated and elegant. There is live music every night of the week! My friends and I love coming here for “Lady’s Night Out”! I would recommend something from the menu, but honestly I love EVERYTHING! There are tons of tapas and wines to choice from. Their food is always fresh and the service is great, the whole staff is so friendly. I will mention that on Thursday, Friday Saturday night after 10pm the restaurant can get pretty noisy with the live music and energetic crowd. If you haven’t been to The Turquoise yet you have to try it out and see what I’m talking about.

The Turquoise is a uniquely elegant and charming spot located in north PB. I was really impressed by their tapas, friendly staff, and fantastic music. They offer late-night dining and live music every day of the week. I highly recommend trying their Sunset tapas and wine specials, available daily from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. It's the perfect way to enjoy happy hour, grab a drink with a friend after work, or have a dinner date. If you're seeking the loud and rowdy PB experience, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for a fun happy hour or a great, affordable night out with authentic tapas, The Turquoise is your spot. The service is excellent, attentive without being intrusive. With live jazz music every day, Flamenco Tuesdays, and special events every fourth or fifth Sunday of the month (check the schedule on their website, cafebareuropa.com), this is definitely not your average tapas bar—it's a unique cultural experience. I truly love this small, sophisticated venue and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a cozy atmosphere, an elegant crowd, engaging conversations, relaxing music, and a cultural vibe paired with delicious European tapas and an extensive wine selection.

Just ten seconds after entering The Turquoise Bar and Cafe, it quickly became one of my favorite restaurants. My brother, a local, assured me I would love it, and he was absolutely right. The decor and aroma instantly transported me to southern Spain. The selection and quality of classic Spanish tapas and other Mediterranean dishes were exceptional. The wines, served from casks rather than bottles, were fantastic. Dinner exceeded my high expectations. The owner clearly takes great pride in his restaurant; he even gave my wife and me a brief tour of the kitchen and introduced us to the chef. Having dined in hundreds of cities worldwide, I can confidently say this was one of the top two or three dining experiences I've ever had. I can’t wait to return to Pacific Beach and visit The Turquoise Bar and Cafe again.
