Great food, told me by my artist/art teacher: Oasis Adult Ed.! Amazing price, amazing artistic atmosphere. Homemade Lebanese / Mediterranean food! Poetry, read by owner at times! Paintings created on the site! Fun for all with alcohol for adults!!!

Very delicious. Their Hummus was on point. Their grape leaves wrap was *chefs kiss*. Lemonade was fresh squeezed and Free Refills! Chicken Shwarma wrap was 6/10 for me but the service, atmosphere and the gallery was amazing. Will definitely return and try more of their menu

If you looking for a great intimate space where your every need is catered too, Fairouz Cafe and Gallery is the place to go. Don't let the construction scare you, the restaurant inside is more than a restaurant. You're first met with a hug from it's owner, who also created every piece of art the surrounds every inch of the space. His family waits on your every need but watch out for his brother. He stays in the kitchen preparing the mouth watering meals that is a true example of the Lebanese cuisine but don't let the costs scare you. One entree can feed many (as it did for us), or take it home and eat what's left it in private before going to bed like I did. But don't forget to look all around you because the art is a variety of styles and subjects, even in the restroom. Fairouz Cafe and Gallery is more than a restaurant is an experience in love and appreciation for the arts and cooking. Do buy a card which comes with an original poem you pick yourself, or better yet, buy a piece of art by the nicest all around artist in San Diego. You might find other places to eat but it's the overall experience that's worth every cent! Just try the lamb shank that is so well seasoned it melts in your mouth and if you like it hot and spicy, they make a fresh sauce that no one can come close too it's so hot. You won't be disappointed bring some friends like we did. Oh yes, you can definitely reserve for larger parties, as we did. Go you'll be happy you did.

I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the incredible atmosphere and delicious food! This place is a must-visit. The owner is a talented chef and artist, with all the artwork on the walls created by him. You won't be disappointed. (Shown in the picture is a half-eaten gyro salad with feta... it was amazing and I can't wait to enjoy the rest for dinner).
