I usually order the chicken kebab with salad. One of the better mediterranean chicken kebabs in San Diego. When the restaurant is busy, seating may be a wait, but the food is good and portions are big. View all feedback.
What Burrito doesn't like about Baba Kabob:
It is a pate of rice and salad with a bed of beef, gyro and chicken and a salad dressing and a creamy sauce for the meat. The Gyro is the standout but not too special as the whole plate is a bit of a let down. The provided sauce was just too small so you get more of a saltier taste if you run out. It's definitely flavourful meat though you might think it dry without any kind of sauce to pair.Talk about the pricey, if y... There is not much left to say given there are so many reviews saying they are great. I can just verify that they are still offering you juicy kabob with a decent portion. Even the salad is simple but fresh and tasty. Plus, service is minimal but very friendly.Food: 5/5
Wow! Absolutely fantastic flavors. Service was polite, friendly, and super fast.I highly recommend the chickens and beef kebab combo plate as well as the chicken and lamb kebab combo plate. The meat is so juicy and flavorful. It almost melts in your mouth. And don’t sleep on the rice, it is so fragrant and creates a perfect harmony of taste and umami with the kebabs. The potato bolani is also fantastic. Very fresh and I almost burned my mouth. Very good flavor and the white sauce they give with it is pairs very nicely.Everything is halal and one of the owners that took our order was awesome to meet and talk a bit with. One of the best halal options in San Diego!
The Chicken and Lamb Kabob plate was the best prepared with attention to detail: high quality boneless chunks of meat, marinated with a subtle blend of spices, and cooked to moist tenderness perfection. Paired with the Potato Bolani, this was the meal topper.Food: 5/5
