Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and plated, and the service staff explained every element and was happy to answer questions about local ingredients. Hands down the best meal we had in Chiapas. They also have several items for sale we bought coffee, pinole, chocolate, and tascalate to take home.
Small, but lovely restaurant with good clean food. Everything seems to have been prepared fastidiously. Given the quality of the food it was not so expensive.
We enjoyed wonderful food and wonderful service at the gem.of a restaurant. Everything was prepared fresh and with care. As a vegetarian I had some good choices of soup and main dish. It's worth walking just a few blocks past the Zocalo to this lovely spot.
We had great cooking class with Claudia… First we experienced together the local food market. This was awesome and already a 5 star rating…, fruits and vegetables we have never seen, between a barber shop and living live stock… with Claudia as guide explaining what the Mayan used … After the market tour we cooked in a simple mayan kitchen with Claudia in her own restaurant.. We were a group of 8 friends touring Mexico.., and this was the most impressing experience
I've had the opportunity to try many of the offerings on the menu. All delicious, with so much attention to ingredients and flavors. Many vegetarian and vegan options, just ask Very friendly and attentive staff I can't recommend more, it's so nice to eat at a place where you can taste the love and care put into the food.
