Slapfish - San Clemente

Great seafood. Much lobster in every part. The pommes are crispy. The fried fish was crispy. The tartar sauce was just divine. Wide range of soft drinks.

Delicious niche food spot in San Clemente. It’s a chain so you’ll find a few other locations, mostly in beach towns. I came with a couple buddies because I knew it was in the area and I rarely get a chance to eat at this place. I told everyone to order the lobster breakfast burrito. It’s not on the actual menu, but it’s definitely their most famous secret menu item. $18) The burrito itself is super fresh and cooked to perfection. There’s a decent amount of lobster in it, but the burrito is so good as while that I don’t mind the slight lack in lobster. The best bang for your buck at this place is hands down the chowder fries. For only $7 you get a small bowl of fries loaded with clam chowder, chipotle aioli, bacon bits, and chives. The dish is absolutely killer and exploding with flavor. Pro tip: spread some chowder on a few burrito bites, it adds well) The food took about 15 minutes to come out and the presentation was a nice touch. You can tell they take their time for a good reason. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but I’m happy to make it a once or twice a year kind of meal.

Great place to eat a quick bite. It's really healthy eating. The food is fresh with a great taste. You have a good choice with fresh fish. Will definitely be back for more. The portions are very generous so that you fill with single order.

I go every time I visit the San Clemente outlet. This place has everything, from comfort food like the Clobster grill cheese, to healthy choice like the Power Bowl. Both options are delicious and will certainly come back for more.

Simple menu, fast service and quite good food... many seats both indoor and outdoor.
