Sk@bbq - San Clemente

I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the food is at this restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. I highly recommend the japchae; it's made with mushrooms, onions, green onions, spinach, and pork, and it's absolutely delicious!

We traveled from the Inland Empire after hearing about the amazing food here, and they were absolutely right! We tried the Spicy Pork Bulgogi and the Beef Bulgogi, as well as the Steamed Chicken Dumplings. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent! We will definitely be returning soon!

I discovered this hidden gem in San Clemente tonight, and it's undoubtedly some of the best Korean food I've ever tasted. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, and I'm a strong advocate for supporting small, local businesses. The quality of the food is outstanding. While some have commented on the prices, I believe that for the HUGE PORTIONS you receive and the authenticity of each dish, the cost is very reasonable. I highly recommend the Spicy Pork Bulgogi (#D6) and Stone Pot Bibimbap (#D11). I genuinely can't think of any reason to give less than a perfect rating; the food, service, and hospitality were among the best I've experienced in the area. If you're in the vicinity, be sure to stop by!

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. One the dishes (steak) was gross and barely edible. When we brought this to the attention of the owner, and asked if he was able to make us something else, he yelled at us, stuck his hand in our food and constantly talked over us. He was one of the rudest humans I have ever met. What an awful interaction. He refunded us $20, which was not appropriate given the price of the item. Terrible place. Do not go back.

Good food, great service. I was the only one at the time, a late lunch, I was treated great. The food was delicious.
