This is my first time going to JJs. We needed something quick on our way to SD. My husband is a JJs fan (but he also likes subway so... but I thought it couldn't be bad. Meh. I was not impressed at all. The bread almost looks like toy bread, the meat and well all of the toppings were lacking. Everything here is nice. Clean restroom, friendly staff, cool and clean. Sandwiches are good. It a typical Jimmy John but nicer!
The Thai wrap tastes the Worst — lettuce and a sugar syrup sauce in a tortilla. Overall Poor service.
Placed an order an hour before they closed for delivery. email given stated it would be delivered the next day, attempted to call location to cancel order as their website does not have a function for that, no response. Drive to the location to either pick up the order or cancel it, store closed early and did not update their hours, so now I have a sandwich being delivered a whole day late.
I ordered some sandwiches and the meat was left off one of them. I called and explained and they apologized and offered to deliver a replacement. I figured, it being a Sunday, I would be waiting a long time. But not 15 minutes later my sandwich was delivered. The roll was so fresh and tasty it was worth the wait!They added extra meat (enough to add to the empty sandwich) plus a coupon for a free sandwich. Jimmy John's in San Clemente went above and beyond to make things right. I highly recommend this location. L Marquis
