The food and service at café Mimosa was good. I didn?t feel as though there was anything special or unique to this place that would drive me to come back here again. The cost of food and drinks are pretty high for what you get. I understand that San Clemente can be expensive in general. The food was delicious, I ordered the steak frites and the service was excellent. Although it was slightly challenging to find my way to the restaurant, overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good food, but they need to improve their quality control in the kitchen. Half of my Pork Belly Benedict was undercooked and I could not eat it. The waitress offered to bring me something else, but I declined, and no further attempt was made to address the issue or make any adjustment to the bill.
I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the menu was very intriguing. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating in every way. The food arrived faster than expected and was truly outstanding. The selection of mimosas was so impressive that I had to have more than one.
