Soggy Peso Bar - San Carlos Plaza

El lugar es una palapa bien puesta, sencilla pero nada descuidada por dentro, el exterior del lugar si desmejora. De entrada no aceptan tarjetas de crédito ni débito únicamente efectivo, nacional y dólares, (eso sí, el tipo de cambio a 20.00!!)La carta nada espectacular, no te quieren sorprender con ella ni nada gourmet comida sencilla y por cierto no había ni ceviche de pescado, ni caldo (los llamados bichis), cosas básicas en un restaurante de mariscos. Aún así lo que pedimos estuvo muy rico, sin sorpresas.Pero lo mejor es el lugar, el piso es de arena, mobiliario muy básico y tiene unas hamacas colgadas que invitan al descanso. La vista es maravillosa, el azul del mar, la arena blanca y un pequeño cerro al fondo a un lado. La música en el volumen perfecto y muy agradable, de las 4:30 a 7:00 pm tocan música en vivo. Una experiencia para pasar el tiempo, comida fresca sin grandes aspiraciones y sobre todo muy relajado el ambiente. El servicio también es bueno. Ahhhh pero si requieres factura ahí si que te harán sufrir, batallaras mucho para que las envíen.

Ojo! this restaurant is outside the city. a vehicle is necessary to get there. Once they finally find the shutdown for the venue (we passed it twice and the google maps did not help) there was a watch to meet them. they have to pay to get into the opposite. After we paid $30 pesos to drive on the dirt road, we finally managed to do it. Once you finally arrived, the soggy peso is only cash. because we had no pesos to get a meal, we went next to the sunset grill. this restaurant apparently takes credit cards, but requires reservations. because we didn't have a reservation for what we could say was a dirt floor restaurant with several tables free, we were turned away. that just seemed too annoyed as it is worth. we were tired, hungry, so we returned to the city to find a little less stressful. as far as we could see, there is nothing special about this place for the worsening it caused.

Great beach bar on one of the best beaches in san carlos. service was excellent and the drinks. thank you.

The food is great and the margaritas are even better! They are potent, so be warned. Nice setting on a beautiful beach with sugary sand. Dog friendly so after our meal the dog got to go swimming. The service was excellent. Cash only, so don’t...forget to bring pesos. Definitely a must when in San Carlos!
