Terruno - San Carlos de Bariloche

Los precios estan un poco por encima de la media, la trucha con salsa de puerro no tenia gusto a nada, no tenian goulash, poca variedad de platos.

I guess I will counter the recent one star review and say that we had nice, friendly service. Maybe it has to do with communication. But our waiter was friendly and halpful. Could be because we speak Spanish. He recommended the sandwiches, which were fabulous. He also recommended the Newen Malbec - one of the cheaper ones - and it was great. Pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend it for the sandwiches.

Food OK but service not great. Ordered pasta and a simple salad (tomato and lettuce) accompaniment. When the salad was delivered (by a different guy) it had far more in it including peas, cheese and artichokes. I queried our original waiter and he confirmed it was the simple salad. So I ate the bits I wanted (and had expected) and left the rest. When the bill came we were charged for the 'house special salad', which was over twice the price. On querying it again I was told that it was what we'd had and what we'd (half) eaten. After more toing and froing and bringing back the original waiter, they begrudgingly knocked something off the bill. Then when we tried to pay by Mastercard they said they only took Visa, claiming the Visa sign in the window was clear. It was, right next to a Mastercard sign. The customer might not be 'always right', but the vendor should be prepared to admit when they're wrong. However good the food, it leaves a nasty taste. Oh, and avoid the house special salad, it really isn't very nice.

La tortilla olvidable, muy desabrida. El pollo con salsa de hongos de pino y arroz, bueno. Muy rica la salsa. Milanesa correcta. Buena ambientación, cálida y con mucha madera. Lo que no nos agradó fue la atención. No volvería.

Muy buena ambientación. Moza agradable y atenta. Excelentes tortas, tostadas y brownies. Muy buen chocolate. Una buena opción cerca del Centro Cívico. Recomendable.
