Delicious food and comfortable ambiance. We wanted to eat dinner outside (given that this review was late December and COVID cases are increasing) but we were disappointed that their outside heaters were not working. Horrible experience. They tried to charge us for items we did not order. They also got every single order wrong. Highly recommend investigating them as now we are feeling sick from the food. View all feedback.
This is a review for OpenTable, not for the restaurant. The restaurant CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY on 12/31/22. It is CRAZY that, 3 weeks later, OpenTable STILL accepts reservations. Especially since several users have already reported the closure in their reviews. It is even CRAZIER that OpenTable doesn't offer an option for users to report a restaurant permanently closed. Yelp does, so why not OpenTable?
Large traditional sitdown Mexican restaurant, great ambiance, good service, low tables, and bar...what 's not to like, right?Unfortunately, the food. It wasn 't terrible, but it didn 't impress either. The chips and salsa guac were just ok (the chips were poor). The enchiladas were a bit salty, otherwise bland. And the classic Margarita tasted like a pre-mix. (Go to Tommy 's in SF for a good classic drink)Will I go Otra Vez ? Probably not. I 'll stick to Mayan or Mama Coco for Mexican in San Carlos.

The food was delicious, I had shrimp tacos. The drinks were delicious, I had a prickly pear margarita. They also had a descent wine selection. The service was very lovely and the atmosphere was pleasant. I definitely plan to go again very soon.
Had the Grilled Salmon and my stomach has been upset ever since. For the money that I spent on the entrée, I was expecting better quality.The two star because the taste was decent. But would you eat again if the salmon was clearly stale and a health risk?
