I had the best luck in being invited to dinner at Redwitch. What a fantastic evening! The food was really quite superb: Spare Ribs followed by an excellent,patisserie standard, Strawberry Cheesecake. We have just returned from another excellent meal at the Red Witch Cafe. I think sometimes that we return to San Blas year after year for Martha at Iguanas Ranas and The Red Witch Cafe. It is the closest you will come to a gourmet restaurant in San Blas. The dishes are always unique and the flavours delightful. We always go on Friday night for the special dinner. We usually don't know what is on the menu but we have never been disappointed. Edma the cook is outstanding and Ro the server could not be improved on. If you visit San Blas you must eat at The Red Witch!!!!
The Red Witch is the hidden jewel of SanBlas. The mole is certainly the best I have ever eaten, my mouth was watering before I even took a bite, food presentation and ingredients are top notch. A must when in SanBlas.
One reason that The Red Witch is successful and popular.....Edma and Ro! They are proficient in food and service. Only the best ingredients and finest service here. What a terrific blend. What they strive for and accomplish for their customers is truly amazing! What we always look for in a pleasant evening out. Can't keep me away!
We ate here twice during our stay in San Blas The food is excellent, my last dinner was a shrimp salad.
Coconut Shrimp are the best I’ve eaten. The almond-based mole was terrific. Haven’t tried the pizza yet. Ribs are a special served once in awhile and are GREAT. Encremadas are a staple abs are always good. Rogelio is the waiter and always a delight. Paella is a special next week. I can hardly wait to try it.
