She put the wrong type of food regardless of my attempt to get her to stop. I’ve been here a couple of times and kept wondering why the taste was always off. I don’t know what it is but the corn has a funny taste and really ruins the bowl for me. Could just be me personally. Bowl wasn't what I expected. I got charged $15 for a small tiny bowl. Small scoops of proteins and i dont think ill ever be coming here again. Shame because i really like pokeAnd to too it off, i got home starting eating and the shrimp tasted like it was sitting out for days. I had to toss the bowl out.
I have to start off by saying that I absolutely love this place and have been coming here since they have opened. I make the drive from the high desert just to eat here. I have recently been here maybe 3 times in the last few months. I have noticed a huge difference on the portions and the prices. I paid almost $70 for 4 bowls that didn't fill none of us up. Used to be able to bring some home. Portions of everything have become ridiculously noticeably smaller. I would always brag about this place and say I would never go anywhere else. I notice that it has just become the same as every other poke restaurant. Overpriced for what you get. Super disappointed. For reference my son is 11 and got a 3 scoop bowl finished it and said he was still hungry. That's how small it was.This has happened the last 3 to 4 times we have come. It is not our most recent visit.
Had such a delightful poke experience at this place! We ordered two scoops of poke each, along with an appetizer of the crispy tuna rice.The poke was nice and fresh! I appreciated that you can add as many toppings as you want. However you only get one scoop of the premium toppings (avocado, crab, seaweed salad). The sauces provided were also really good! I liked their tangy housemade lemon sauceThe crispy tuna rice had a nice crunch and a good amount of spicy tuna on there.we definitely would go back again!
Me and my wife love this place and always received the greatest help before. Overall great portion sizes, but 03-19-23 @3:35 pm was the day that broke it all for me. I ordered on the app and didn’t get what I ordered, idk if soy sauce and eel sauce are the same but basically had shrimp/soy sauce rice. I don’t get how you order 3 proteins and only get one of them. Plus I didn’t even get sushi rice in the beginning, and my wife returned to just get questioned as if we were liars. Been to different Poke spots, at this location they do not go by size of bowl but by scoops of protein.Poke was good, average price for poke bowls. I liked that they had spicy options for protein and they also have spicy edamame. Really appreaciate the thinly slice jalapenos and cucumbers. Other spots tend to have really thick slices and it's hard to eat.I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for their poor customer service.Worker came from the back, I was not greeted, she just stared at me. Told her it was my first time at restaurant while I read the menú from wall. Instead of letting me know the process, she just stayed quiet. I literally had to ask her everything.At the register, she told me my total, that after I inserted my card I'd have a few questions, said thank you and literally walked to the back while I finished mypayment.Would have been nice if she at least waited to give me my receipt.Typical Gen Z Worker, smh.I'll give them a 2nd chance, hopefully next time their customer service will be better. If not, will not be returning.
