My stop on the way back from shopping in Sorianas. The boss serves delicious food with an artistic flare. Once again delicious food, good service and great parking. Three qualities on my list, honestly, I would be a little on the service for good parking!

We ate here tonight. I had the shrimp and vegetables tempura and my husband had the pasta alfredo with shrimp. Both were very tasty and filled. There were many shrimps on the pasta and the Alfredo sauce had a nice taste. There were also many shrimps and vegetables on the Tempura plate, which came with tartaric acid sauce and a diving sauce. The dough on the Tempoura was light and crispy, unlike so many other restaurants where I was where it is juicy and greasy. The chips offered before dinner came with a spicy sauce and a pico de gallo; the mixture of the two was a great taste effect. We'd eat again.

For a late lunch and dinner with a friend. I always love this restaurant. Unfortunately, it has changed ownership. The meal started with free chips and sals, which always a beautiful traditional note. The Chiles en Nogada was just fine. The walnut sauce, I think, had no walnuts and was so thick that it was like whipped cream. The Chile was okay, but there was no taste. The pomegranate seeds were strawberries. It came with a baked potato that was good. I also had a margarita, I wished twice the salt rim and still I did not get a salt rim. The Margarita has no Raves either. The service was just okay and let us use the traffic noise without the excellence of the previous owners, it falls short. Sad. I'm not going back.

Feb 2020 Fogon de Charlotte San Antonio Tlayacapan Once again, we enjoyed a great dinner at this restaurant. We dined on the patio outside. We went with friends who have since moved to the area and they seemed to enjoy their meals as much as we always do. Lori the owner as usual was friendly, helpful and attentive. Some of us got steaks others, Chiles en Nogada and drinks as well. Service was excellent, efficient and unobtrusive. Drinks were well made, prices always reasonable with daily specials as well. We will be back as we have many times over.
