Contribute Feedback What Gene S doesn't like about The Terrace Club:
It has been 7 years since I ate at this place. Decided to try it out at the rodeo since tickets had access. I was horrible. The beef did not have any sauce. The meat was fatty for such an expensive cut of meat. The chicken cordon blu was overcooked and tough. So was the bread. The scalar had old lettuce, the deserts were mediocre. The butter was salty. Over all I'd give it a D. Very disappointed since what I remember... View all feedback.
I left a message on game day asking about accommodations for a vegan friend of mine whose birthday we were celebrating. I honestly did not even expect to get a call back. Instead, the general manager called me with a detailed ingredient list of all of their menu items and even offered to make a couple of fresh off-menu items. I was happy to hear about this and confirmed our reservation. We were about 15 minutes late to our reservation because of some complications at the entrance gate due to Covid. When we got there, the hostess was already expecting us and we were immediately served a custom quinoa paella type of dish, vegan cheese and vegetable quesadillas, and a sweet corn soup came shortly after. There were other vegan options like vegetable tacos, beans and rice, fruit, and salad available at the buffet. Thank you Jason for helping make our night a memorable one! We appreciate it.
They really need to step it up here. It is inexcusable. The food is so inconsistent. It is NOT good most all of the time. You can always count on it being cold. It isn't fresh and usually tastes stale from being frozen. I tried the roasted carrots on my last visit. They looked roasted but were cold and iced in the middle. I've made the management at the restaurant aware of these issues on several visits. Nothing changes. They can't even get the dessert table going. It's a joke. Horrible. They should at least pick up pies and cakes at HEB. Any of the HEB's could do a much better job. The service is awful. The waitstaff is just pissy. We are season ticket holders. We've given this several tries. Overall all of the food at the AT&T center needs a huge overhaul. Stick to whattaburger and the other chains. At least they are consistent. Don't pay the money for the treat of dining at the Terrace Club. It's not a club you want to be a member of. Maybe they will step it up next season. Until then stick to the hotdogs on the main level.
We decided to try this instead of carnival fried options at the rodeo . It was so good. We had carved beef, on a table with beautiful grilled vegetables. Another table was an outstanding bib lettuce wedge, corn salad, 7 layer dip Chips, and mixed greens and veggies to build a salad. We all loved this table, so fresh and flavorful. The dressings were really good. Another table was numerous varieties of cheeses fruits. There was a table with scalloped potatoes, squash medley, and jalapeño poppers , all delicious. Another entree table had a wonderful pork dish, a chicken breast with a great sauce, shrimp quesadillas, all wonderful. The dessert table was the best of all but dessert is my favorite. Lemon bars, pecan pie, apple cream pie, cranberry orange cobbler and homemade cookies and cream ice cream. Having paid $7 for one tiny fajita taco at one rodeo booth, the dinner price for this buffet was well worth the price. Our only problem was a very rude lady and her boss were acting as lazy gatekeepers, once you passed them, the people at the restaurant were all so nice and our server, Dana, never left us with empty glasses. She was quick picking up dirty plates and made certain we had clean ones. Note, I googled this and realized there is a form you submit to get a reservation.

It's Awesome and Delicious! Well worth it! Haven't tried it? Call and make a reservation at the high flying restaurant in the AT&T center. You won't regret it.
