First, the restaurant is fine, not bad. If you eat here, come to the atmosphere. What really lights this place is the museum. This museum is by far one of my favorite museums I've ever seen. So much detailed and fascinating history is covered and captured here. I would recommend this museum to everyone and probably come back. View all feedback.

Mellow dive bar. Went after dinner for three nights fri to sun. Most of the bartenders were attentive except the blonde one. She was obviously too busy socializing to care about service, excessively. Even a couple of the locals commented on it. Overall, a comfy bar to chill and have a drink. View all feedback.
They are trying to be the locals bar... everyone we talked to was from out of town. The bartender was not super friendly ... maybe that is a local thing....
Dive bar. Clicky and dark. Jeans n t-shirt kind of place. I think you would be out of place if you dressed nice. They had a full bar. Wake a bake happening...
Cheap delicious drinks. Nice bartenders. Several TV's. Nice patio. What more do you want in a local dive bar?! I was greeted immediately, treated well, the...
This was the halfway point between our walking the historic marketplace to the Alamo and we wound up there for lunch which was great- got the special of chicken fried steak- and the hubs got a burger an fries- even got fried pickles and they were done right! Everything hot an fresh straight outta the fryer and the waitress was really great. Kid friendly, had all sorts a unusual decor and games in the back- an old timey shooting range one was too fun and my kids loved the fun house mirrors. If we had more time I would of gone to the museum, but we were only in the city for a full day. The gift shop was staffed with the nicest ladies also. If you want some old timey family friendly place to eat simple fare, this is it.
Went for a Professional Development conference after party. Such a cool place. Would love to go back for a meal and another stroll thru the museum.
