Taqueria Chapala Jalisco Mexican

Food was ok. Service was really poor. I paid almost $40 for two plates, two twas, and two tacos. And the cashier told me that there was a gratuity charge. But for what? My waitresses didn't really tend to us or anything. And my brother paid seperate forhim and his guest and he paid $32 for the exact same thing! Minus the tacos! Today was the last time I ever decided to go backthere.

Incredible food, the staff are kind and professional, and I love getting breakfast there. Highly recommended.

Outstanding lunch! You know you?re in the right Mexican restaurant when you a table full of old Mexican ladies laughing and having lunch. Best crispy homemade taco shells I?ve ever had! Free nachos and queso. Awesome green and red salsa!

Decided to try this restaurant after plan A fell through. I'm glad we decided to try this place. Taqueria Mi Chapala Jalisco has chips and salsa with complimentary queso, they do put chopped jalapenos in which makes it a little spicy. The salsa has abigger impact with the heat ????. The inside dining room looks just like it did when another restaurant occupied the space. Both hubby and I ordered the cheese ???? enchilada plate ????. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and very hot????, temperature ???? wise. The rice was very tasty, the beans were flavorful the enchiladas were delicious. Hubby likes hot???? hot ???? sauce and was very impressed with the heat. We will definitely be eating here again.

The food is always great but the ladies who work there..every single one of them. Needs an attitude adjustment and matter of fact should all just be fired and replaced!! They are all so entirely rude and disrespectful and beyond unprofessional it's ashame!! They forget that they should be grateful and that they are representing that restaurant by the services they provide.With that being said... It makes me not want to visit this place because every time I walk in there I'm instantly reminded ofwhy exactly I don't like going there in the first place. And 9 out of 10 times my order is in one way or another wrong!! Orincomplete. But being as it's less than a block away from my house, the convenience of it has me coming back more than I wouldeven like to. The man who works the counter sometimes is super nice, friendly and professional and they should all be trained byhim IMHO. i always hear the same complaints by everyone I know who visits this restaurant. It's such a shame really because it'sa nice establishment with great food. Although a bit over priced , the service these woman provide is giving the bad name andreputation they currently hold in the community. I hope they can fix this problem!!! It's been here a long time from what Iknow, and def. Needs a over haul of servers if they can't get it right. And fast!! I hope to one day change my rating so it canreflect the stars it desperately deserves. But they are the BIG issue that brings me to my current rating as of now.
