Steak N Shake - San Antonio

Always interesting come to this. Very fast food model as compared to diner like settings that are most of the others. Eating wisely it was okay. But I came for the Shakes baby. And they're never disappointed. You're making a mean banana. Come back. Food: 3/5

I stand at my review standard of Fast Food must be good or fast. Fast is pretty good because you have to order on terminals. Although there were several people standing at the counter, the person had difficulties beside us to get their attention to get help. We had all the problems with the terminals. Can't be sure if it was on a cover above the screen to stop germs, but you had to press hard and several times. Shake came fast. Food came with standard quick food speed. The food wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. Themes: No hair nets (if these are anything else). During a ****, one of the chefs went out to arrange chairs and wipe tables. However, if they use any kind of cleaning solution, they did not change gloves before they went back to dinner. Music was loud. It seems to disturb people who have so much conversation that when a song stopped, someone almost screams. I couldn't say how kind the staff was because they all stood at the counter and talked to a person. Fast food burger joints go on hills and while this was not the complete mess has become a McDonalds, they certainly have some things to work.

The burgers are pretty good, but for my opinion is a little expensive for what you get. Food: 4/5

I like the burgers. You are really good and the price is right, but I give him a 3 for the service because I have my own order. There is no service except when they call out that your order is ready. Food: 5/5

Burger was good, except the lettuce was limp and looked a little old. Onion rings were good. Restaurant smelled like they needed to clean out their drain trap. And the shake wasn't good. Not the same quality I remember from a few years ago.
