I stopped by for a quick dessert on a Friday night and found a cozy little spot with about five tables inside, a small seating area, and a tiny table outdoors. Most customers seemed to have opted for just the ice, so the tables cleared out quickly. While they also offer paninis and other small bites, I decided to go for the gelato. Googled dessert with me and this place came up. my first time here at the blue star. I was thrilled by the unique gelato aromen. I had goat cheese, caramel and mandel taste. i the small size is a lot!
Their products are so good! The raspberry sorbet, strawberry lavender, and goat cheese cashew and caramel flavors are all great choices. You can't have it just once.
My favorite gelato/ ice cream place in San Antonio. The vibe and atmosphere is nice and the flavors will have second guessing your choice because they are delightful to the tongue and soul.
Legit little hole in the wall type of place. You wouldn't know it was here unless you stop by and notice the gelato logo. I was around town and wanted a sandwich for lunch. Better yet they serve delicious, warm paninis! Exceeded my expectations and I think I might have found my new favorite panini/gelato spot! I ordered the Sottobosco, and it tastes just like something I would have gotten from Italy. It's filled with arugula, mushrooms, prosciutto. The seating area is very spacious. I went here around noon-ish and was the only customer. Don't forget to also look at their selections of gelato. I ordered the chocolate white macadamian but, and it was everything I expected it to taste. Overall great experience! So yourself a favor, come order a panini, and take a stroll thru the neighborhood, you will also feel like you're in Italy. Happy eating!
Best gelato and ice cream period in San Antonio!!! The goat cheese gelato and raspberry combination rocks! Really cool place
