Sanitary Tortilla - San Antonio

I waited at the register for 10 minutes with no one attending to me, only to receive the response that they did not have what I was looking for. Poor customer service.

I just left this restaurant and the person who was working, who she said only works on weekends, was incredibly rude. It was my first time there and I asked about the flour tortillas. She said they were in the ice chest, but there were none there. She showed me some on the rack and when I asked if they were fresh, she said she didn't know because they make them on Mondays and Fridays and these were from the past week. I asked if there was a label indicating whether they were made on Monday or Friday because 7 days is longer than 3 days and I would prefer the fresher ones. She just said she didn't know and that they were closing so did I want them or not. I decided to leave and will never go back to this place.

My great grandmother used to bring me here when I was a child, and the tortillas are still as good as I remember. They also offer Barbacoa by the pound or as a special. I highly recommend coming here and trying it out for yourself. The tortillas are freshly made daily in-store.

Barbacoa was excellent and truly the best I've had in a while. However, it seems like their tortillas were not fresh that day. I had to moisten them before warming them up, and even then they were not as good as I had hoped.

The barbecue was moist and not overly fatty, making it very delicious! The pork easily fell apart when taken out of the packaging, but still had a great flavor. We ordered through DoorDash and were impressed with the packaging. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
