Rudy's Country Store And -b-q

I've always enjoyed Rudy's. All the way when I moved here the first time in the early 90s. I've never had a bad meal. I love love love the cream corn. The brisket is awesome.

Yesterday was our second day of living in San Antonio and based on recommendations from our mover and a car rental agent, we had to try it. We were confused about the ordering process but the staff was so friendly and helpful! We ordered two sides and then we offered a sample of the creamed corn. Yeah, we had to get that also! We got turkey and brisket. They have two choices of brisket (moist and lean, I think) and we were offered generous samples to help us decide. We had a great conversation with the staff while in line. No one seemed stressed out or in a rush. I love it! We will be back for sure!

What a great place, the family gathered there for the Thanksgiving meal. Awesome food, with awesome a loving family.

Stopped there for dinner befor my meeting great place and great food. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Will stop there everytime i go to my meetings.

Low key atmosphere with out of this world food. We tried the brisket and sausage with creme corn, beans and potato salad on the side. The root beer I shared with my wife chased it down. We’re going back.
