The food is amazing and the service was quite fast about the crowd of people in food. The atmosphere was quite average. While the interior is no kind of character the food made more than for them. Great lunch. Will definitely go back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Picnikins Patio Cafe:
I went for the first time today. I chose tomato basil soup and half a chicken salad sandwich. The soup was delicious. The chicken sandwich had absolutely no taste. I couldn't even finish it. My other disappointment was that they don't have an uncaffeinated soda option. I'll try to get something else. But they really need another option than lemonade a water for those who do not drink caffeine. I can't do it for healt... View all feedback.
Good lunch experience. Your Roasted Poblano soup is absolutely delicious! I heard many good things about her salads, so I ordered the Asian salad. Disappoint. There was not much to do with the romaine lettuce. They contain 2 ounces of dressing. When I asked for more to add some taste of blandness, I was told it was $1. Resigned.
Okay, I came here for a sandwich and soup, but saw they served burgers so opted for one. Delicious! Cooked perfectly and their bun was soft and flavorful. I was also surprised to see a decent beer and wine selection also. Their patio is probably a fantastic spot to hang out on once the weather cools off.
Good food. Convenient location. Very very slow service. Definitely go for lunch when you have time or need to do a working lunch chatting with colleagues but know that it will take at least 30 min to get thru the short line and receive your food. The line won't be very long but it will be slow and the food takes awhile. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed and ate most all of their lunches. Tasty fresh food with some unique original dishes. Definitely worth trying, just be prepared to be patient.
Great service and attitude near closing time noted first. Delicious very tasty Southwestern salad and poblano soup was perfect! Another good example of why I Always go with a local proprietor owned restaurant.
One of my top 3 favorite places to eat in the city...it is THAT good! The best items here are their Vermont salad, their burgers and their homemade fries. I could eat here every single day and be happy. Employees are incredible and truly care. The food is always consistently amazing and so fresh. Can't say enough good things. They've been amazing during the pandemic as well, and I hope they continue to grow and expand because everyone in the city needs their food!
