Pepe's Barbacoa - San Antonio

I have found a new favorite spot for breakfast. The staff here are delightful and the food is always delicious.

I was born and raised on the west side of San Antonio. The restaurant my father always went to closed down years ago and I never found a better place until three years ago when I discovered this amazing little spot. I used to live just 3 blocks away and stumbled upon it one day with my husband. We decided to give it a try and were blown away by the small size yet big flavor and excellent service. The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they serve the best Barbacoa in the city without a doubt! Although I have since moved out of the city limits, I make sure to drive into town every Sunday just to enjoy their delicious food. I truly appreciate these genuine and wonderful people. God bless them always.

The service at this restaurant is excellent. The owner truly values their customers and shows sincere gratitude for their business. This was my first time dining here as my regular spot was closed. I drove an extra 10 minutes to try this place and I'm glad I did - the food was delicious. I will definitely be back.

I have been in San Antonio for 48 years and this was my first time trying Pepe's BBQ. I fell in love with the BBQ!! The food was great.
